Ashleigh Spencer
Assistant Solicitor
Ashleigh completed her LLB (Hons) and Legal Practice court at the University of South Wales and has specialised in Family Law since her qualification in April 2010 Ashleigh has built up a specialism in representing clients in complex Children Act Matters with aspects of serious allegations including parental alienation and domestic abuse and complex Financial Matters following separation and regularly represents clients at court, offering continuity of representation to client.
Ashleigh is a member of Resolution, a Family Lawyers Organisation, who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters.

Blane Barton

Blane joined Ashleigh Spencer Solicitors in December 2023. Blane worked as a Paralegal specialising in Family Law since October 2019.
Blane attended City University of London graduating with an LLB in 2018 and graduated with a Masters in Law from BPP University in 2019.
Blane qualified as a Solicitor in October 2023.
Anita Shepherd

Anita Shepherd is a Senior Consultant Solicitor specialising in Family Law. Anita has over 25 years experience in all aspects of family law, mainly multi-value and complex high value financial matters alongside difficult children cases and is a Legal 500 recommended Family Lawyer. Anita qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales on 17 May 1999.
As a practicing collaborative lawyer and member of Resolution she is committed to promoting alternatives to court proceedings to resolve relationship disputes thereby providing clients with greater choice of procedure to resolve disputes.
Anita is a Resolution accredited specialist in Advanced Financial Provision and Domestic Abuse. Anita is passionate about achieving healthy and sustainable outcomes for her clients and is well known for her problem solving skills. She is renowned for her ability to devise solutions to take the heat out of complex and heightened family disputes.
Her client base often includes leading individuals in the sporting and media industry, financial and corporate services and world leading medical consultants and university academics.
Anita is also a freelance tutor and supervisor for the College of Legal Practice in which she teaches the next generation of lawyers in respect to solicitors qualifying exams.
